Hi Wendy
Don't know if you'll check back and read comments on a post from last year, but thought I'd say hi, and send my best wishes with regard to Becky. I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK for my own reasons - see my website - 365challenge.co.uk - and my blog - 365'er - for details, but thought I'd suggest something that's worked for me as I try to raise £3650 this year.

I invited people to become members of my 1%ers Club - where, if they donated £36.50 to my fund-raising efforts, I'd acknowledge them on my website about my challenges. And so far, nearly everyone has sponsored me at least that amount, so I'm well on my way to achieving my target before I even start the challenge (on Sept 1st), so I hope to raise much more.

I thought I'd throw that out there for you - set yourself a healthy target for your next fund-raising round, but try the 1%ers approach or some variation on it, and let me know how you get on.

Good luck and take care
Colin
